I had a revelation today, I need to break this plateau and just upping my exercise isn't going to do it. I DO need to increase my activity but I also need to make a few changes diet wise. I have gotten so comfortable eating"whole foods" and just watching my portions. Not only has the scale not changed in weeks, it seems to be going up! I always have said I'm not on a diet, just a lifestyle change but I think, for now, that includes staying away from things like grass fed butter/whole milk anything (non pasteurized)/cheese/wine/grass fed hamburger/dark chocolate. I do believe in these things in moderation, but I may have been overdoing it. I'm actually kind of sad about this. I really LIKE the way I have been eating and I suck at diets. Today's food has already proved boring. I didn't get to make my new favorite buckwheat pear pancakes because of the butter. I need to stick to this, I don't really have a choice.
