Day 2:

Okay so, I know I'm not supposed to weigh in every day, but I am very happy that I did today! I woke up this morning to a very nice surprise; Two more pounds lost yesterday! That's crazy, it's been months since I lost more than a pound in one day. I think now I'll wait to weigh in until, let's say Tuesday. Of course I know I can't expect to lose every day - or even every other day, but I don't think I can wait longer than that to weigh myself. emoticon

I'm glad I seem to have found a food routine that works for my body. I take the daily calorie limit and nutrients needs that the nutrition tracker shows me and I break it up between 4 or 5 small meals a day. I read on a site that more meals a day, in smaller proportion, is better for speeding up your metabolism and burning fat/calories. That along with my playing DDR (dance dance revolution) on the wii for an hour or more every day, it seems like a good combination!

I don't want to push my body too hard, so I think I'll set a goal to be down 15 lbs by the end of February(only 12 more lbs to go!). With how well my body is responding to my new diet and routine, I really think I can manage that, if not more. emoticon
