I've mentioned before that I've been working out regularly for a while. I fall of the wagon occasionally, but then I get back on. I know I feel better when I work out 6 days a week.
I've also mentioned before that I'm a Chalene Johnson junkie. I'm using a mixture of her turbo fire workout for my cardio days, and Chalean extreme for my strength days. Love huh!
So during Turbo Fire, she does these things called "Air Jacks." It is basically a jumping jack on steroids, where you jump high off the ground, kicking your legs into a wide straddle, and make both arms go around in complete circles in opposite directions.
They are sort of insane. I've seen people on the turbo fire board here say that this exercise makes them (TMI coming) "leak pee".
I used to skip them.
For the last few weeks, I've been adding them in when Chalene does them, instead of just doing a regular jumping jack there. Luckily, I haven't experienced the above-mentioned problem, but they are intense. My fingers tingle after I'm done.
Today, something strange happened.
I touched the ceiling.
Yep. I went so high, swung my hands so hard, and straddled so amazingly, that my fingers smacked into the ceiling. I'm 5'2".
And yeah, our ceiling in that spot is a low 7 feet, but WHATEVER.
I hit the ceiling doing an air jack. I didn't pee. I'm celebrating.
