Salt alcoholic

Saturday, January 28, 2012

Hi, my name is Jackie and I'm a salt alcoholic. It's been 4 days since I put salt on my food. I have to confess I'm not totally abstinent, I do salt my food very Lotte as I cook but not at all after cooking. I've been known to put salt on every bite. It is going to take some getting used to but I know I use way to much salt.

Be sure to search SP for salt substitutes. There are so many flavors to enjoy over salt. I had to stop using salt as a teenager when it was said that I had high blood pressure. Up till today, no additional salt added..maybe a little Season All. I do love Accent and Mrs Dash as well!

I like the Ms.Dash salt free seasonings. I have several different flavors. I do love my salt also. That could be why I am not seeing weight loss...salt could be keeping me retaining fluid. You can shake the salt habit! I will work on doing it with you!!!! emoticon

My Mom is a salt-a-holic too. Sometimes I'll ask, Hey Mom, want a little something to go with your salt?
You can do this. It will just take some time and some getting used to. But, remember, it's for your well-being. And, there are so many wonderful ways to season food without using salt - or at least salt in excess.
Good luck!!

Are you using other seasons as well?
