I've been completely MIA from the gym and outdoors and from the healthy part of the grocery store (or the grocery store, period) for the last two weeks as of yesterday (but not including today). I haven't even been volunteering at the pound!
What I have been doing is studying. And studying. Going to class, and coming home and studying more (and eating a lot, unfortunately). After two weeks of non-stop cramming, I finally took the TEAS Test (a nursing school entrance exam that I need for my vet tech program)... and then celebrated having it OVER and FINALLY DONE by getting Portillos on my way home from the test at 9pm without having eaten any dinner due to nerves. With that said, I normally don't ever, ever get fast food, though as the stress and nerves built up over the last week, so did the volume of food I consumed.
On the plus side, I went for a run today, and I'm going to go volunteer in a little bit. Oh, and I did freaking AWESOME on the test, even though I ran out of time on the math section and ended up guessing at the last eight questions! The proctor was really impressed by my scores, noting that they were 'outlier worthy'. It made me really happy and gave me the motivation to jump up to where I left off before this extended yet stressful study session.
