*groans* is all I can say to this. I have been struggling with my workouts. I need a motivator. Or a workout buddy that will push me. I like having someone that will make a FULL workout and not just want to do one set and be done so they can go to the pool and relax. I need to start getting back into running, but the cold is wreaking havoc on my knees, making my arthritis even worse. But tomorrow is a day at the gym to get working on my arms and legs, and Zumba on Thursday.
I will say this, I am doing oh so better since I have decided to go vegetarian...again. I feel more energetic and I have been sleeping better too! It has been almost a month since I had fast food and about a good 2 weeks since I had a soda (I am still drinking coffee and tea, but with less milk and sugar). I am so happy that my co-worker, Valerie, is making the same choices. I have fallen in love with Trader Joe’s, Outpost, and Woodman’s all over again. There is something about vegetarian and organic meals. I don’t miss meat at all, but LOVE legumes! I made a WONDERFUL veggie stew last weekend and shared it with Valerie. Don’t ask for the recipe. I just chopped and sautéed and simmered by taste, look, and smell. It was so good, that I only have one small cup left.
This is going to be short, but I really should be getting to bed. My new position at work is demanding (as being a 3-4 year old teacher can be), but wonderful. I love those kids, and I swear I have lost most of my weight just being in that classroom.
