Just Do It

My new motto is Just Do It! No excuses. In the past three weeks, I have been to fitness class at the YMCA three times, gone to Curves three times and worked out at home on the elliptical seven times. Last year, I had several medical issues which kept me from exercising. I am determined to get my fitness level back to what I had a year ago. Tonight afterwork, I was not feeling great and wanted to just come home. But after I went to fitness class, I felt so much better. Just the atmosphere at the Y, with all the people working out and the music, it lifts my spirits when I walk in the door! The same is true when I go to Curves. Seeing other people going through the same issues gives me motivation to continue. It really is just a matter of doing it! Getting there can be tough, but afterwards is amazing. I am feeling a little knee pain from doing the step exercises, but I will take a whirlpool and a couple aspirin.
