Anyone tried Complete Nutrition?
Tuesday, January 24, 2012
I haven't blogged for a really long time because I haven't had much to say. It's been pretty much one failure after another and who wants to talk about that?! SO, I have been trying really hard the past few weeks to get back on track and I have figured out something interesting. I think my husband is the cause of my emotional eating! Now don't get me wrong, my husband is a great guy. But, I am a people pleaser and I never really feel like I do anything right at home and therefore I am constantly stressed. He isn't trying to make me feel bad....he is just a tad obsessive compulsive about things. Anyway....My husband went out of town for 4 days and guess what?! I did SO GOOD on my eating! I was so happy and was feeling like I was finally getting back on track! Then he comes home and I start eating junk again! HOW DO I DEAL WITH THIS?
Now I have to deal with the fact that my husband just won 2 trips through work. In March we are going to Puerto Villartia and in April to Cabo San Lucas (hope those are spelled right). I am so excited to go spend some time on a beach in the sun but I can't go looking like I do now!! Gross!! EVen if I were to do everything right with diet and exercise, I still wouldn't be able to lose enough to notice by then. It's so discouraging.
I have been wondering if anyone has heard of Complete Nutrition and/or tried it? I know there is no magic pill but I just wondered if it might help me lose a little more a little faster. I don't want to do anything that isn't healthy for me (been there, done that), I just was hoping it might help me get going again.
What do you think?

So, I just wanted to tell you.... We have a Complete Nutrition store here that has everything a GNC has. :) I went in there on Friday afternoon, and the guy working there gave me an 8 day sample of the CTS360. It's an appetite suppresant and metabolism booster. I LOVE THIS STUFF!! I wanted something that didn't make me jittery and this stuff rocks! It's really hard working 3rd sometimes, with the whole eating thing. I don't take a "meal" at night, because who is supposed to be eating in the middle of the night anyway??! lol So, I bring things like a banana, hard boiled egg, yogurt, string cheese (anything with protein.)(I'm sure you are getting the idea). :) It is definitely a little spendy, but it might be worth a try, if you are having issues with eating to much, or grazing. It keeps my hunger at bay, but I still eat when I need to. :)
So, I hope this helps!!!

I had to find new outlets for my stress. So running and crocheting become new outlets. Both keep my mind occupied so that I'm not thinking of comfort foods.
Can't help on the complete nutrition , never heard of it.

I haven't heard of Complete Nutrition....where did you hear about it? Sure wish I was going to those places! But I too would be wanting to lose some serious poundage before flaunting these thighs around!
Taking care of my man means great food...but its not so great for me. It is easiest to lose weight when my pantry is not filled w pastries, and fluffy bread! I love bread.
We can do this. Yes we can.

Mine does too!
My husband has A.D.D. and that makes it tough because he is so hyper!
I get stressed with him too. I am lucky because we are not around each other a lot due to his work schedule (which sounds mean) but he won't take his medication to slow down which is Adderall.
Maybe once he changes jobs and feel he can slow down, he will be more relaxed and easier to deal with.

I just finally got my hubby back on the healthy track with me. He had lost 40 pounds last year in about 2 months! I know...i know...men! BUT......he gained it all back. I know watching me go through all my stuff last year was stressful and this was a big part of his weight gain. I finally told him...I need him to be on the same mindset as me...cause I especially now need to eat healthy to avoid recurrence and flat out told him what I need from him and he started this week and meal planning and having no junk in the house has helped :)
I never heard about complete nutrition. Is it a supplement or meal plan? I completely understand your frustration with all this. Why is it so hard to take weight off and seems so easy to put it on? Just doesn't seem logical or fair! I'll be here cheering yo along the way! The beach trips are great motivation! I dream of being some place tropical right now!
You CAN do this...you CAN do this...You CAN do this!!!

OMG I think we are married to the same guy! My hubby is OCD also so I totally hear where you are coming from! I used two cans of green beans instead of one on Sunday because we were having company and I got in such trouble. I mean seriously, a can of green beans. He was mad because he bought them and he thought I was using all of them up (he buys cans of food in flats, seriously!). I was like really, that is not a big deal, here is your $.67 and that will make up for it I guess. He so stresses me out. I am not working right now due to being laid off right before Christmas and if the house is not perfect when he gets home from work I get the look literally. Even down to mowing the lawn in the summer time. It has to be done in a pattern.. lol
Have you talked to your hubby about how he stresses you out? That might be the place to start. SOunds like you have some fun trips coming up. I am envious! Go and have fun, relax and enjoy the vacation. Don't worry about it. I remember last year when we went to Hawaii. there were people of all sorts of shapes and sizes on the beach without a care. kind of refreshing.
Just know that we are here for support. I have been offline for a while too. I am back to working out and attempting to track what I eat. I joined a gym a few weeks ago and love it. Since I am not working I stop at the gym after I drop the kids off at school. no excuse that way.
I haven't heard of complete nutrition either. Will look more into it.
Have a great rest of your week!!!

Have you talked to him at all about this? It sounds like it might be a good thing to talk about if you've pinpointed him as the source of the stress...
I've never heard of Complete Nutrition. Sorry I can't help there!
