I'm going out to lunch today for India food. I love it but want to make sure I don't eat all of my calories in one meal. I've researched the nutritional values and calories for my favorite dishes. I think I will skip the delicious tikka masala, basmati rice, and DEFINATELY the nann bread. I'm going to bring some brown rice and have saggaloo (spinach and potato dish).
I think the exercise habit is happening. I know what time I exercise and start feeling a little inner nudge when it's almost that time. I still have to talk myself (not outloud!) through my workout. Funny how my mind can try to think of ways not to work as hard as I should and equally funny how I can keep myself going with '5 more minutes' pep talks and thinking my 5 minutes are almost up at 3 minutes. Hahahaha and I still have 4 more '5 minutes' to go. I'm such dork but it works for me. i got blisters on my heels but, thanks to my ever supportive husband, I have blister bandages and have no excuses not to stay with it.
I tossed the rest of my husband's birthday cake down the garbage disposal this morning. I didn't eat a slice of it, even on his birthday. It's a week old anyway so nobody else will eat any more of it anyway.
