Confused!

I've been working on tracking at least my exercise minutes on my spark page on a somewhat regular basis. My spark page informed me that I was not eating enough calories. I figured out that when I work, I burn about 6,000 calories a week. BUT I don't work every day and I don't burn a LARGE amount of calories every day. I only burn a large amount of calories about 2 days a week. SO, the confusing part is this: Should I really eat more calories EVERY day or just the days I am burning large amounts of calories?
I really hope people read this! I need advice!

    I would contact one of the sparkpeople staff. They are very willing to help. Consuming fewer calories than the minimum slows your metabolism and your body begins to fight weight loss. Your really don't want that! Contact the staff for some individualized instruction.

    The guidelines from spark are intended to prevent you from going into starvation mode and gaining weight while trying to lose. But the best option you have is to follow your personal nutritional desires.

    What you need to do is have a 500 calorie deficit on average every day or a weekly deficit of about 3500 to lose a pound a week. it should not matter how you arrange to accomplish your deficit as long as it occurs, but generally it is recommended to decrease calories about 250 cals a day and increase activity to burn 250 cals a day (total deficit then = 500)... then the big BUT, If you have a method that works for you follow it... and don't be surprised if you have to change it in the future to find a new way to work it for you

    I don't know if this will help, but what is your body saying to you. One of the things I know, is that less calories + exercise = weight loss. I have found that the Spark measurement of calories for me is a bit off, so I got by my body.
