Switching things up a bit

I have always gotten up and exercised first thing in the morning, then showered , eaten breakfast, and gone to work. I keep reading that exercising like that in the am after no fuel for the body isn't so good. I've done a lot of added exercise the last 2 years and not lost much. Maybe my body needs fuel first! I can't get up early enough to wait the 2 hours suggested, so I will try to exercise first thing as soon as I get home. I almost didn't do it today, the first day of change, but I have a challenge going and couldn't let the other person down. Thanks Laura! Day one done. I hope this turns my body into one mean fat burning machine!!!

    Hi Peg!

I've found I need that fuel in the morning before a workout, no matter how short the walk. I'm starting small this year with the workouts and doing a mile a day and stretching. I've joined the Leslie Sansone walk a mile a day 2013 challenge, and find that is helping me stay motivated. Hopefully by February I'll be up to 2 miles a day. I don't want to miss a day because I don't want to let myself down this time. Here's to our success this year and for a lifetime!

    Peg....I need to do the opposite!! I have always been a late night workout person and I tend to keep putting it off til it is too late. I find however when I exercise early I just feel so much better and more energy to finish the day!! Wello early for me is around 2-3pm!! Way to go getting it in done today!!
