Isn't this a funny concept?
Why is it hard to just not do something. If I said, "don't walk in front of that bus." You probably wouldn't have much difficulty NOT doing that. So why is it so hard to not do some things? Why is it so hard to not eat certain foods? Drink certain drinks? Do certain things which are bad for our well-being?
Next time you are fighting a craving for something you know you shouldn't have, ask yourself, "Why is it hard for me to NOT do this?" I mean it's the easiest thing you could possibly do! JUST DON'T DO IT! Don't get up and walk to the fridge. Don't open that can of pop or bag of chips. Don't light that cigarette. Don't pour that drink. It's just like not walking in front of the bus. You Just don't do it.
