After about a month of getting situated in my new relationship with food I feel like it's all coming together!
I started out with the South Beach Induction on my own. When I was about 10 days into it I found Sparkpeople.com. To begin with it seems like a lot to keep balanced; calories, carbs, fat, fiber and exercise. So, I decided to break it down into more manageable smaller pieces. As of today I feel I have my carbs at a good level, exercise is going well and consistent and the attention given to drinking water and meeting fiber requirements is falling into place. Not only falling in to place but becoming a habit! They say it only takes 30 days to make something a habit, I'd have to agree.
Now, my weight loss isn't going so well as I get situated here in my new food relationship. I was down 6 pounds at the end of induction but gained back 1.5 pounds last week when I weighed in. I still have two days until my next weigh in but I can say my clothes fit better and my body measurements are decreasing. And above all I feel great! Energy levels are great, no mood swings, no crashing from the sugar and carbs.
All in all a very successful start to a new relationship!
