Working on Goals.

As we all do from time to time we gain back a few pounds. I had a very stressful 2011, and a few very happy time and those contained big parties which meant more food…. But I am stopping it right, and right now. I had set a number on the scale, and if I reached that I had to get back to square one. That meant journaling…

I did make the mistake of not catching myself at that 5 to 7 pound gain, to spot and refocus. I went up 10 pounds… Christmas was always a very fun and happy time in my life, but 23 years ago my Mom pasted away only 10 days before Christmas… It is still a hard time for me… But I was determined to think of myself even if the stress is still in my life… Like I said I was up 10 pounds. New Year's Day we had no plans to visit anyone, just staying at home, so I started fresh that day..

I have journaled my eating and my exercise daily.. Set goals to keep myself focused… I am pleased with my efforts , I have lost 4 of the 10 pounds… my goal is to continue to track my goals, take it one day at a time, and no there is no rush … A weight loss journey is just that, a life time journey, with ups and downs, sad and happy times, successes, and failures, but as long as I stay focus, I know I can stay healthier by eating healthier…
