This week has been amazingly stressful but also wonderfully... surprising.
The V.P. recommended me to our Region for an after school tutoring position. Definitely adds to the recording and paper work but it is keeping my schedule busy, which I love! After nannying 4 kids last Saturday for over 12 hours I set aside that money for my reward to myself when I get back to the 130s! The Urban Decay eye shadow box with primer and brush.. ahh can't wait! I rarely buy things for myself but I know I can work hard for it! It's pretty exciting to have something to look forward to. (Besides looking better in my clothes of course!)
Tomorrow I am going to make a big change in my diet. I plan to use my new juicer to get those micronutrients on the go. I'm also looking forward to the benefits: anti inflammatory,complexion, intestinal health, and higher energy levels! My biggest challenge will be cutting out sugar from my diet. Obviously fructose but making my kitchen gluten free may take some time. I am at my wits end with my fingers and feet swelling for no reason though. Ready for this new change and lifestyle, not just for a lower number on the scale but my body, long term.
I hope to post some recipes from my experiences on here soon! I've always been a fan of smoothies with soy protein but the juicer will be a neat experience!

    Yes! I love smoothies it's actually easier for me to make a smoothie as opposed to using the juicer. I like to keep frozen fruit like strawberries and papaya to throw into the blender with a banana and protein powder. (a little water to get things going) Perfect for after work outs. emoticon

    Congratulations! I think juicing is wonderful and gets those micronutrients into your blood system lickity split fast! Have you tried green smoothies? Not only are they of course made from greens (duh!) which are essential to our well being and health, but they also provide us with the fiber necessary to carry the toxins out of our system and avoid a detox healing crisis.
