As this week of blogging challenge draws to a close, I am pretty pleased with myself. This experience has helped me identify and focus on a particular habit and actually make some significant progress. As I shared my thoughts, frustrations, and goals, I received tremendous encouragement and a ton of ideas on things to try. It really recharged my level of motivation.
I am going to continue with my commitment to plan and track daily, but I am also going to focus on another habit - blogging and responding to blogs. I think both have been tremendously beneficial to me. I have done both for the last two years, but not with any consistency. Consistency being the key word here. I am better with reading and responding to other SP member blogs. I usually read and respond to two a day. It was never a goal; it was just something I did. As a formal goal, I am going to read and respond to at least three SP blogs a day. As for my goal for writing, I have followed a couple of SPARKERS who blog every day (or most days), and I have gotten so much out of them. I would love to be able to do likewise. I think it might be a bit overwhelming for me to commit to one every day, so I am going to start with a goal of three times a week and build from there.
I think this could, indeed, be habit forming!
