Ok, a quick report here...I missed doing a video on Wednesday so yesterday I did the Wed. video, Seated Core exercises.
This is the one that asks you to pull the abdominal area WAY IN in order to make your leg move. First time I did this, I couldn't feel if I was doing anything different! But this week, I DID feel my abs kick in and realized when I was adding leg muscle to this...so I was able to make the leg lift smaller and feel it just happening from the abs. Cool!
The other thing I noticed was that previously I have done the leaning-back abs exercise and let my back curve, rather than keeping it straight as instructed. SO my back muscles have been doing some of the work. Aha! When I keep the back straight, I feel the abs more.
Today I did the Pilates hips and thighs video, and it was definitely easier than last week. I can feel that this is going to be GREAT for those flabby upper leg parts that we love to hate...
45 minutes cardio, walking to and from Starbucks at 17-minute/mile pace, in pretty chilly temps! It felt like a fairly easy day. I guess I am ready to go to Rome and walk up and down those seven hills!
