Out of town for the weekend

I'm going out of town this weekend and I will be out of range of the internet. Unfortunately this getaway is notorious for big eating and I don't want to make a big show of not eating. At the same time I also want to stay on track. I have no idea what food will be served and it wouldn't be the greatest if I ate my own thing. So, without the ability to look up and track a big thick meal on Sparkpeople, does anyone have any non-internet tips for easily and covertly making it through 48 hours in a big eating situation? I don't think it will be a big deal if I don't fill my plate, but again, I'm not ready to flaunt it in anyone's face that I'm trying to take steps in the right direction. Any little tips or tricks for just 48 hours would be very helpful.
