Every year I try to get more serious about fitness in the first couple months of the year. Not for resolutions but to get ready for the summer and for the added bonus that everyone here hibernates in the winter so there is much less going on and I seem to have more time.
However IT'S COLD!!!! And I find it hard to get motivated when it's so super cold out. It's -26 C plus windchill out right now and that's warmer then it's been the last couple days.
However, the best way to warm up has to be to work out right? I just finished a workout and I feel warm and toasty! I need to change my thinking patterns. When I'm cold (which is always) I need to work out to warm up!
EDIT TO ADD: After writing this I jumped in the shower only to find out that all the hot water was gone so now I'm freezing again!!!
