A little commitment to myself

Whew a year can blow by and you never even realize it. I was so busy this last year and my weight loss took the hit. I gained all that I lost back and put on two more extra pounds. So I sat down on New Years day and made myself a little commitment. I AM going to lose 10% of my body weight this year and I'm going to keep it off. Now that sounds like very little but I've been consistently gaining that every year. That is not pretty math. I'm at least 90lbs over weight and I'm not going to gain this year. I'm not, in fact I intend to lose and keep it off!!! Right now I'm training to walk a 5K when I'm done with that I'll run a 5K. I'm making no other plans after that because I want these small goals in my head not the ginormous overall picture. Later I'll make other plans. It's hard not to rush it, but I'm tired of the battle being lost because the war seems overwhelming. I'm going to succeed this year PERIOD! This is my battle face emoticon
