Hi..saw this cute poem on fb today..yeah it's still cold here!!
It's winter in Canada
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy kilometers an hour
At thirty-five below.
Oh, how I love Canada
When the snow is up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Canada
I'm frozen to the bloody ground!!

I thought it was funny..gave me my morning chuckle :) But I do love Canada, winter and all!!
Today was another hot cereal for breakfast day..I tracked all my food..I had a spinach and roast beef and veggie salad for lunch, and steamed fish, corn and salad for supper...had a few extra calories left and used them on beer and chips..not the healthiest choices..tomorrow will be a better day!! warmer too hopefully..
Did 40 minutes on the x bike and made lots of fires in the wood stove...did some of the farm books..did some cleaning..typical day but stayed inside..I wonder when I last went outside?
We were going to go to town for the mail this afternoon but the car wouldn't start even though it was plugged in and hubby tried to use the battery charger.. :( The trucks would have started but it's too hard on the diesels if they don't have to run... Don't quite have cabin fever yet!! Hubby's missing the mail tho..
I did some reading and was going to watch Dr. Oz to see the Spark segment and I turned to the Seatle ch and it was not on due to the storm warnings..hope that storm doesn't move this way..had some phone calls from my sister, oldest daughter and son :)
Well..it's been a lazy day and hope I make better progress tomorrow..
Thanks for dropping by and for all your comments..the 5% challenge has been fun to meet lots of new spark friends and have new inspiration...Keep on Sparkin'
