Diet Guidelines for Busy People

I was given this 2 page article from my acupuncturist. Thought I'd share it's main points for anyone interested.
Food- minimize pork, white and refined sugar products, artificial sweeteners and white flour products.
Drink- Minimize sodas and cow's milk.
Breakfast- 1 or 2 eggs (2 or 3 times a week) Skip traditional orange juice it conatins too much acid and sugar.
Eat as much fresh fruit as you can between meals. Avoid breads and cereals.
Eat most of your calories in the morning. Try to eat very little after 3 pm.
Avoid microwaving food.
Drinks- Drink between 4-8 glasses of water a day.
Snacks- Try to use fresh fruit only
Cholesterol- Stress and lack of exercise are two of the major guidelines can help you maintain a normal cholesterol level.
Lunch should be your main protein meal. Eat fast food only in emergencies and try to avoid the deep fried foods. If you crave seeds, eat fresh fruit or unsulphured dried fruits.
Dinner- The evening meal should be mostly vegetables. If you don't know what to do to get a variety of vegetables to make a meal, try a German cookbook.
By following these guidelines, your skin will start looking healthier and you will lose your excess weight without going on a harmful diet.
