Well indeedy! After having what I thought was a really bad week of not tracking my food in full and eating things I really should not have been eating I have lost 1.25 lbs! Yay!
There are two reasons why a loss may have occurred - 1. I'm very heavy and a little cheating at this time can go unnoticed or 2. I was not as bad overall as I thought and am focusing on the dessert I had and sweets I ate more than the good things I did. Either way I shall have to work on a more balanced approach because for me that will be the secret of maintaining.
I have been thinking about my goals a lot this week. I realise I do not wish to be thin - when I say thin I mean a UK size 10 (US 12?). I just want to be curvy and healthy, feel better and look better. I'm no longer aiming for the healthy BMI range but for the overweight range - 12 stone (168 lbs) would be fantastic and would just put me in the overweight range. I am big boned (8 inch wrists) and rather muscular my nature so will aim for the 12 and then maintain for a while before deciding what to do. So now I have a plan in that respect.
Next, I plan to sort out exercising. Right now I am not doing enough but for now I shall just tick along and get the eating and head sorted and do my long weekend walks. Weather will improve as the seasons change and I can look to getting the exercise element in.
No rush - 1 step at a time. That has become my new method.
