If a child can do it...

Wednesday, January 18, 2012

Today I watched my 11 month old granddaughter struggle to crawl, stand up and climb. Her little legs got caught under her so many times and yet she managed to get them straightened out each time. It looked like it was so difficult. As I watched her I realized it looked a lot like me trying to do my morning exercises. Yet she never quit. This is what it's like learning a new skill. Constant trying and never giving up. Learning to compensate for your current abilities. I know that eventually she will be running around the house with no memory of how difficult it was for her in the beginning. I can only hope that I can follow her example and keep on trucking through these challenging videos.
