I have been logging in on Sparkpeople now for a few weeks and keeping track of my food. I am reading a new book called "The Petite Advantage." I am about 60% of the way through it. I have lost 5 lbs now. Feeling pretty good. I can't wait to lose about 10 more lbs so I can fit back into my clothes! (I really should have gone up another size and bought a couple pairs of jeans. I only have 2 pair of jeans that fit me right now. Once I get down maybe another 10 lbs, I should be able to fit into the size 14 clothes again.) I currently have a couple of size 12 pants in the closet with tags on them, and 2 size 10's with tags on them. One pair of jeans is pink.
One of my goals: My birthday is the end of May. My step mom comes up the week of Mother's Day and stays with her daughter for a week. We go shopping that week. I want to buy some pink beads at the Brighton store that week for my necklace and bracelet (for my husband to give to me for my birthday.) On my birthday, I want to be able to wear my pink jeans with my bracelet and necklace to match!
My average steps on my pedometer for 2011 was 8084 steps per day. My goal for 2012 is to average 9000 steps per day. I am not off to a great start as I am only at 7100 steps per day average, but I vow to get better! I am going to try to get up and go to the Y tomorrow morning and get myself back on track.
