Day 17 - CLEANSE - completed! WoooWeeee my arms are shaking. I did CLEANSE today and it would seem that I am not doing this alone anymore. My six year old daughter is along for the ride! It's a little harder to stay focused with her on a mat next to me but I think the time together is worth a little less focus.
I also did day 2 of a 30-day fitness challenge...I am doing this with my husband. It's only 12 minutes each day but OMG it's killer. We had dinner right after we finished and I could barely eat. I finished 1/2 my salad and a small bowl of chicken noodle soup. I am still waiting to see if I can eat the fruit we had for dessert.
We are making an effort to eat more fruits/veggies as a family. Just with dinner we had spinach, carrots, celery, parsley, lettuce, kiwi, oranges, grapes and apples. YUMMY!
I think I might need to break up my workouts...the more intense one in the morning and yoga at night maybe. Not sure yet. Oh another thing I am going to start tonight is a "gratitude journal." I am going to take a few minutes before I go to bed to list five things I am grateful for today.
I know it seems as if I am adding a lot of new things all at once but for some reason it feels right to add them...I suppose because each thing takes very little time and may have a large impact. Anywho...if it gets to be too much, I can always back off of some things. Not the yoga of course...that is my mission for 2012!
