I was just revising my reward list, and decided to add a reward for going 105 days without eating any fast food, with the exception of the occasional healthy sandwich from Subway. My birthday is 105 days away. I am curious to see how much difference that one change will make. In 2010, I went 88 days without fast food and I lost about 15 lbs in that time.
I am also making a goal to not drink soda for 105 days. The only time I have a hard time with drinking soda is when I am out with my friends. It is like I have a soda blind spot for rum and cokes and long islands. Lol. Should I count club soda in this as well?
In addition, I am going to try to drink at least 8 glasses of water for 105 days, and stay within my calories. Not to sound pessimistic, but I am fairly certain I won't be able to maintain those two. However, I am going to try. :)
I hope by posting this I will stay more accountable. I am also sharing my nutrition tracker so all my sparkfriends will know if I mess up. Feel free to give me a cyber butt kicking if I go off the wagon.
If I make it the 105 days, I will reward myself with either a new hairstyle and color, or a new piercing, or a new tattoo. It will depend on how I'm feeling and my finances at the time. Any of those would make me happy though.
To achieve my 105 days without fast food, I am going to do the following things:
-pre-track what I am going to eat for the day or week
-do more grocery shopping
-have back-up junk food for those days when I really, REALLY want fast food
-prepare meals in bulk ahead of time
-share my nutrition tracker (accountability!)
-avoid problem situations or prepare ahead of time
-blog several days each week with the day i'm on and how I am doing.
