End of Week 2

Believe it or not two weeks have passed and I have lost a total of 7.5 lbs. I am so pleased with myself because I have not been tempted to stray once. I have tried and succeeded to reduce my gluten intake. Today was the first time in two weeks that I had any gluten in my diet and I was put on the spot to have that. It is my birthday tomorrow and one of my co-workers was being very generous and baked me a birthday cake because she knows I live on my own. So very politely I said just a small piece as this is going to be a hard weekend - out for dinner tonight but again planning on making wise choices and my elderly mother who is in a nursing home is coming home for the day and she wants to b Chinese food. Again how do I tell her no - so I have just said I do not want any deep fried or battered food. I will stick with the vegetables and I will take my own brown rice. I find it is all in just planning ahead. I also find that at night drinking hot water with real true vine grown lemons sliced in it is very helpful to keep your system flushed of the wrong things. I have even taken to drinking his during the day now the weather has finally turned cold. I find it works for me so I will stick with it. Hope next week is as good to me.
