Day of rest

I did my minimum sparkpeople video today for the january challege but nothing else. My legs are exhausted, it's time for a break. Tomorrow I do yoga and rest my legs again. But saturday I'm scheduled for a long run.

    Glad you are taking a rest day. I have also been doing the Jan. Challenge ,know about the legs, streatching helps sometimes. Have a great day .

    As I learned from overdoing it....our bodies do need rest to recover from strenuous exercise lest it become counterproductive....I was actually losing muscle for a while there when I was working out for hours a day. Adrenaline and endorphins were great but losing muscle is never good! Of course I also wasn't eating enough to keep up with the exercise...too much of a good thing isn't! Balance is key!
