Small appliances

Thursday, January 12, 2012

Yesterday evening I bought a small food processor and a single serve coffee maker. I hope the food processor will help me eat more healthy food since it will slice and grate foods such as potatoes, cheese, and onions, as well as other veggies.
Anyone else have a food processor? I've never used one before so I'm somewhat at a loss in using it. I'll figure it out eventually, at least I sure hope so.
Also bought myself a single serve Hamilton Beach coffeemaker.

I don't have a food processor yet, but it is on the list of kitchen gadgets when we finally get a house. We just don't have a lot of room right now in our tiny kitchen apartment. I hope you get the hang of it!

I have never used a food processor other than my kitchen knives but always wanted one. You will have to tell me how it works out for you.

This can only help in preparing or pre-planning quick healthy meals. Great purchase and enjoy!!

I have a food processor that I do not use for what reason I am not to sure maybe because I do not chop too many veggies I prefer to do it by hand. I also have a singe serve Hamilton Beach coffeemaker I bought last wknd. from Walmart. The coffeemaker uses Senseo pods and I really like it I have desired a cup of coffe everyday this wk. emoticon .

I use my food processor for smoothies and for making things like latkes, peanut butter or avocado pudding. I find that it takes more work to clean the processor after chopping than it does to just chop the vegetables! Haha... It's really worth it when you're doing a lot or when you're in a hurry and don't mind cleaning it later. If you come up with some good recipes using it, I'd love to hear them!
