One of the girls in my FB group decided to hold a "show me your warrior face" competition.
She and I had a conversation about Bodypump, which is my favorite weights class. I had told her that it's based on Maori principals of Kia Kaha. When our instructor sees us struggling she yells Kia Kaha (Be strong) and we yell it back with an added "Ooohah" which from me sounds more like ughhhhh because I'm half dead mid class.
So because we both like the principal of the maori live strong, we started looking at their symbols.
The spiral means the beginning of life and growth through it. When connected at the top it means forever learning and growing, no beginning, no end.
The twist is a symbol of unity through love and friendship.
So that being said, here was my entry.
The twist in the middle is not only for my FB group and my friends at the gym, but also for you guys. Thank you for pushing me, motivating me, consoling me, laughing with me, and loving me. I appreciate you all. Kia Kaha Ake Ake (Be strong forever and ever)
