Day 10

10 days so far - I've lost 7 pounds - that's UNBELIEVABLE! Well, not really. Sparkpeople has kept my interest and sparked my belief in myself! I'm not saying I went into this with zero motivation. But I truly believe Sparkpeople, my sparkfriends, and teams have given me even more of a reason to stay the course! Thanks to everyone for the support and motivation!!! I can't wait to hit 10 pounds, 15 pounds, etc. and let everyone know! We're traveling on this road together and it's becoming a sweet ride!

    Lisluc - I've really just tried doing exactly what Spark is telling me to do - it took me about 2 days before I was able to carve down my calories to fit in the range Spark provided. I've been pretty good with keeping within the ranges. That, and drinking water (I NEVER drank water before) so I think most of what I've lost is most likely water weight. I used to binge eat as well - and nothing of much nutritional value. So it's been difficult to give up sweets, etc. Although, I haven't completely given them up. I've found if I really need something sweet I'll indulge in 1/2 cup of Edy's Slow Churned ice cream. Other times when I'm feeling like I want something sweet I'll eat 2 olives. Somethign about the acidity seems to calm my sweet tooth. These are things I'm doing for now - I'm sure I'll hit a point where they won't work anymore and I'll have to figure out another strategy. Oh - and I've tried stretching and walking for at least 10-15 minutes every day. Baby steps.

I'm on day 10 as well..I have only dropped 3.5 lbs..do you mind sharing what you've been doing?
