Well today was my first weigh-in with SP and I'm so pleased that I have lost 1.5 kilos or 3.3 lbs. that's an immense effort for me. That brings me very close to hitting the 70's next week and that would be FANTASTIC. I'm so looking forward to seeing that number on the scales - you have no idea. I'm a happy camper.
I'm finding that this time around SP I'm not being so dogmatic about things. I don't aim for a number but a range, between 1200 and 1500 calories. I aim for 1200 but I don't stress if I'm over at all, an occasional 1300 or 1400 is good for the system I think. It depends how the day works out.
I'm not looking for food at all, or having breakout moments or binges. If I want food I eat - but I make a planned choice about what it will be, within the confines of what calories I have left.
And another change that I've made is that I enter ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING - without stretching the truth, or saying Oh my diary's finished for the day I won't bother adding that..and a million other little reasons that would pop into my mind for not adding foods in eg I'm already up to may calorie limit so won't add that in, I'd like a dessert after dinner so if I don't add that little XX in it'll be fine, Oh surely those calories can't be right....I'll just halve that amount! Have YOU ever done stupid stuff like that too?
It's just straight lying to yourself & cheating yourself of a good week. So now whatever passes my lips goes onto my Nutrition Tracker faithfully.
So I'm looking forward to my week and my next weigh-in.
