I have managed to meet and/or exceed my goals consistently this week so far. I am still on track with the January Jump Start Challenge. It really means a lot to me to get through this month strong. I want to be sure to exercise every day and I want to complete this challenge so I can really start this year off well. I even added an extra 10 minute abs & core workout to the mix today to meet the bonus challenge, and I did an additional 14 minutes of low impact aerobics, just because =)
I feel good. My sinuses are still bothering me, probably will for another week or so, it always lasts awhile, but that's not going to stop me. I find it ironic that I don't watch The Biggest Loser and their motto this season is No Excuses, and that is the motto I have adopted for this year (without knowing about The Biggest Loser using it.) I catch clips online, that's how I found out about the motto =) I might have to start watching it now though since that's my mission this year.
I finished that Endurance book by Jack Kilborn, started on The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, but only read 2 of the short stories before Double Dexter by Jeff Lindsay became available. I am currently reading the Dexter book. It's so different from where the series is at that it does get a little confusing at times.
I took pictures of my completed jigsaw puzzle and started on a new one. That's something my son and I sit down and do together when we get the urge. I also actually got quite a bit of housework done today, and mended some clothing.
All in all it was a very good day. I had much more energy and I didn't even feel tempted to take a nap today. Pretty crazy considering we had thunderstorms most of the day and that usually wipes me out.
We got our notice that our car has been fully paid off and the title is in the mail. AND my husband got an excellent annual review and a raise =)
So yes, today was a very good day.
