Day 81 Weigh in/Decide what you can improve from Phase 8 (Sunday, January 1, 2012)

I weighed in at 222 lbs this morning!

I am going to focus on getting some type of physical activity in every day, and I am going to focus on continuing this trend of eating more fruits and vegetables.

Day 82 Tell a SparkFriend (or a friend who isn't on Spark yet) about what you have accomplished in this challenge (Monday, January 2, 2012)

I feel like I do this every time I post about it on my blog here on SP.

Day 83 Identify and eliminate a personal fear (Tuesday, January 3, 2012)

I honestly did not do this. I can't think of something right now, either. Maybe next time...

Day 84 Go to bed early (Wednesday, January 4, 2012)

Didn't do this, either. About half an hour late.

Day 85 Post something inspirational (Quote, photo, song lyrics) (Thursday, January 5, 2012)


I find this inspiring for a couple of reasons. One, because I used to work with autistic children and had to teach them this kind of thing, so it is inspiring to see my instinct that it is unkind supported by those who have it taught to them. And two, because the writing is so very poetic and gets its meaning across very strongly, in very few words. I would like very much to be able to write that well.

Day 86 Drink an extra 8 ounces of water (Friday, January 6, 2012)

Nope, didn't do it. I did drink a full bottle of water, but that's actually typical for me and is 20 oz. So.

Day 87 Try a new healthy food (Saturday, January 7, 2012)

Didn't do this, either. Was at my parents' all weekend and ate usual home food and had Boston Pizza for lunch on Saturday and Tim Horton's for lunch on Sunday.

Day 88 Identify something you like about your body (Sunday, January 8, 2012)

I like my lips. They are very symmetrical, but not perfectly so.

Day 89 Review food and fitness logs to be sure you're logging accurately (Monday, January 9, 2012)

Yup! Not on the site, though; in my Moleskine Wellness Journal. But I'm writing it all down, no matter what!

Day 90 Examine phase 9 victories (Tuesday, January 10, 2012)

Victories this time around? I ate more fruits and vegetables, but I definitely didn't get more physical activity in. I am doing pretty good at remaining calm and not having anxiety and stuff like that. Nearly lost it this morning, but it was the kind of situation that would stress anyone out, so I'm okay with that.

Tomorrow... Phase 10!
