I only lost 2 pounds my first week and it was disappointing, but I have to remind myself that ake Prednisone for systemic Lupus and take other meds that either cause weight gain or hurt the losing. I can't change those things, but I watched a Dr. Oz today and he had some supplements suggestions and I ordered them from Amazon tonight. Heck, we all need all of the help we can get.

I love reading others' posts. It would be nice if others read mine. If you do, please write something to me; it would be such a gift!

I'll be back and will let you know if I've gotten any better at controlling carbs. While I'm staying within calorie limits, my carbs are either on the high end or over. I have to find more proteins that I like.

I could use inspiration if anyone wants to help! Many thanks.

  Thanks so much for your support RebelRebel! I was playing with the program, changing when I wanted to make my goal date and it ended up changing how many calories per day I could eat. It increased my allotment per day and I didn't want that because of health problems and medications I generally lose weight slowly (and gain quickly). The reason I say this is because it changed my starting weight and took away the weight loss that I thought was. meager. Oh well, I know I lost that 2 lbs. even though it doesn't show.

I had to make myself go and get something that weighed 2 lbs. I took 2 pound cans and I held it for less than 5 minutes and I started feeling like I couldn't (or didn't want to) hold it anymore. So, you are right. 2 pounds is great! I have to look again and see what day of the week I weigh myself. I will only weigh myself once a week so that I don't get discouraged by fluctuations. Thanks again for your support, it meant more than you could know! emoticon
