Yesterday I was at my parentís. I had my workout clothes and running shoes with me, but I was with my son so I couldnít hit the road for run. I had also left my kettlebell at homeÖ So whatís a girl to do to get a workout in and not break a streak? What I often do when I donít feel like following a DVD-- I made up my own circuit! And worked I.T.!!
Stairs (up and down about 15 steps 10x)
Jack squat (20 reps)
Tricep dip (20 reps)
Jump squat (20 reps)
Push Ups (20 reps)
Butt kicks (20 reps- every 3rd knee is a count)
Mountain climbers (20 reps- every 3rd knee is a count)
Crunches (20 reps)
Burpees (20 reps)
Skaters (20 reps)
Screamers (20 reps each side)
HIgh Knees (20 reps- every 3rd knee is a count)
Squat with side kick (20 reps)
Alternating lunges (20 reps)
Did this circuit 2x. First round in 12 minutes, Second in 13 minutesÖ. Woweeeee!
Took several pauses, heart pounding out of my chest and throat! Sweat like crazy!!! Awesome workout! My butt and thighs are feelin it today!!
Then when I got home I did 30 minutes on the stationary bike while watching TV and reading Oxygen (Thanks to my BFFís gift subscription. Iím a New reader and Iím L.O.V.I.N.G. it!!!!) I canít wait to do the January Fat Blast workout!!!
Today is crazy cardio day! 3 mile easy run and 45 min spinning. Strength training is on schedule for tomorrow.
Work it people! Either you do it, or you don't. How bad do you want it?
