So Week #1 was a great week for me! I greatly exceeded all my expectations for fitness minutes, and did well on food, although I think I'm eating too little. It's difficult to not feel guilty going to the fridge for MORE food when I feel like I've eaten too much (even when my calorie count is well under 1,000).
I've also found that things that aren't walking/running bore the heck out of me. I tried to do a fitness show on my cable and it was boring. So i tried another. Then another. None of them satisfied my spirit and body like walking and running do! I think I'm going to commit this week to 30 minutes a day, minimum of walking.
Working in retail, I'm on my feet all day on the days I work so I decided to maximize this by walking my section over and over, counting the minutes. I counted about 90 minutes worth of just walking today on my 4 hour shift (plus standing the rest of the time). Definitely going to help!
My goal for this week too is to not feel guilty about food. That means allowing myself snacks and to not get worried too much about calorie counts. I'm doing great, and my jeans are already looser!
