I met my first goal....I lost my first four pounds this week!

I set a small goal for myself this week, my first week back on SP. I wanted to go from 254 to 250. I walked 2 miles three times last week, did a few 15 minute workouts (1 pilates and 1 stretching/flexibility), drank water every day, cut out non-essential snacking, started tracking my food (not every day and not every meal, but a good start nonetheless), and ate a few pieces of fruit. I also switched over to coconut milk in my coffee instead of creamer, which I was surprised to really like and I cut back my coffee intake a ton this past weekend.

I'm focusing now on the next ten lbs., and I'd like to reach that goal by the end of January. I figure three weeks is realistic. Over the next three weeks, I also want to up my excercise to 4 or 5 days weekly instead of 3. Next week, I'd like to boost my walks to 3 miles per workout (I've noticed that already, the 2 mile walks that I have are "too easy"), and I'd like to continue doing some sort of stretching/flexibility a few times a week. Eventually, I'd like to focus more on some core excercises, but right now it's extremely difficult (I can NOT find a sit up that I don't pull a muscle in my neck), so I'll wait a few more weeks when I'm a bit more fit before starting that.

Anyway, I'm feeling really positive and proud. I know four is just a number, and I don't want to focus on numbers alone, but for right now, I have a WIN in my pocket!
