Well, gotta come clean...I have NOT stayed away from the goodies! The only good thing I can say about those cookies is that they are almost gone! I had one BAD cookie day, but otherwise I limited them to a serving(ish)! Once they are gone, they are gone, no more desserts for a while, unless it's some fruit! I suspect my husband will finish off the last few tonight.
I have done well with my exercise. I have been borrowing DVD's from the library to mix things up a bit. I liked Jillian Michael's DVD's so much that I bought 2 of hers and 2 other workouts with some Christmas money. My DVD's came on Saturday and I have enjoyed trying out the new workouts. I'm sore in some different spots! My husband and I ran together for the first time on Saturday...he had to slow his pace down, and I had to stop a couple tiimes because I kept getting charlie horses in my calves, which has never happend before...I guess I was pushing a bit harder...he's quite a bit taller 6 foot to my 5' 2 1/2" so his stride is longer...he didn't complain a bit and said he enjoyed running together. I guess we will have to try that again. The weather has been so mild here I've been walking the dog more too.
We will be eating out tonight, tomorrow, Friday and Saturday we host a pot-luck at our house...so I'm only cooking two dinners this week...I don't know how I'll manage to stay within calories this week...but I'll just order healthier options and eat smaller portions as best I can.
So, a little frustrated with myself and the darn cookies...but overall feeling pretty happy with being healthy enough to exercise, and exercise HARD! I have had times in my life where getting out of bed was the best I could hope for, so being able to workout and feel strong is such a blessing to me!
