It's another week, and it will be a good one!

I have been slacking in all kinds of things in life lately. But, in the last week I have gotten back at it and really paying attention to what is going on. It was just little things here and there, but I am really going to work at making changes. Today I had a Slim Fast for breakfast and a fiber bar for a snack. I have stocked up on Slim Fast and am going to get some more. I am really, really bad about not eating breakfast before I leave the house, and then lately I have made it worse by going through the drive thru to get something. Yuck. And, I have felt yuck. I know Slim Fast is not the best thing in the world, but it is better than fast food. And, if I add some fruit it is not super bad. And, I got it on sale and had a buy one get one free coupon. I have some more coupons, so I am going to get some more.

I know myself well, and I know that I tend to eat a lot of convenience foods. I am often busy, so I know that I need to work hard at making those convenience foods healthier choices. Fresh foods instead of drive thrus and things like that. I managed to lose about 10lbs in May, and I have hovered at putting 5 of it back on.

My free gym membership expired, so I emailed the guy this morning to see if I could get one for this year. :) The place was really nice and if I can get up and go first thing in the morning, I know that I will feel AMAZING!!! Oh...and now that I can almost get up in the morning, I know it will be even better. I have been taking my vitamin D, and it is slowly starting to help.

Here's to a New Year...but not a new me, just a better me that I want to be!

    I keep crashing with Vitamin D too! I know I am low cause the body aches and pains are more pronounced and just an overall feeling of tired or punky.

    Here's to 2012...a year less stressful and with more ME time in it . HUGS

    emoticon Hey it's a new year, a new chance, and a new way of life, right? My doc put me on vitamin D as well, due to some bone thinning, and I think it does help with the energy a bit too. Keep on keeping on, I'm thinking of you!
