I'm going to be MIA for a few days. Tomorrow I go in for surgery.

Because I can't eat from the time I go to bed tonight (Nothing after midnight.) until probably 3 or 4 in the afternoon tomorrow, I'm not counting calories today. I'll only get to eat that early if I'm not throwing up or sick to my stomach when I wake up. I'm just going to try to make smart decisions, and aim for about 1500 to 1700 calories. So far for breakfast I've had a serving of Quaker weight control oatmeal, and a handful of grapes. My stomach is a little uneasy. I think it's nerves.

I woke up with a little bit of a runny nose, so I'm trying to take it as easy as possible. I don't want to have to reschedule my surgery because of something so silly. This needs to be done and over with.

I'm also making sure I get my water in. Not just because of the slightly runny nose, but also because I wont be able to drink anything tonight or all day tomorrow. I don't know how I'm going to go like 16 hours without a sip of water. That's horrible.

It's hard to just sit around. I want to work out, but I know it's not a good idea. I marked the two days before surgery as non-workout days, so that my body can be fully healed. I don't want to go in with sore muscles. And of course now with these sniffles, that's even more of a reason to take it easy.

I just can't wait until this is over! I should be out of the hospital by Wednesday afternoon. I'll try my best to spark, even if it's just a status update.
Wish me luck, friends. And if you would say a prayer for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

You will be in my prayers and don't forget to take a stool softener if you can. The anesthesia will make you constipated.

I will be thinking of you all day.
