Successful weekend!

Sunday, January 08, 2012

I'm really happy with how this weekend ended up. Normally weekends are my downfall, as they are for so many of us. But this weekend has been really good for me. Hooray! I needed a good weekend to remind me that it IS possible to not lose ground over a few days.

Today I made a big breakfast for everyone, but managed to keep mine under control. In spite of that, it was still a rather large meal, so lunch was very minimal, but since I wasn't really hungry, it was OK. Dinner was another big meal, but I'm still (just barely) under my minimum calories, so it's all good. I haven't snacked at all, really, except for one last piece of peanut butter fudge before I tossed it. It's now out of temptation's way, so that should help since I won't see it EVERY SINGLE TIME I open the fridge. I also went shopping for the week (this meal planning thing is awesome!) and have lots of fruits and veggies for the week, so that's a big plus. I also got in a 30-minute workout on the stationary bike in the fitness room and my bootcamp video. That one just about kicked my rear, I tell ya. Holy ab workout!

I don't want to go back to school tomorrow!! I really enjoy being home, taking care of my family, etc. But alas, I must go teach the future. Or something like that. :)

Good girl! Isn't that meal planning stuff fabulous? It's nice to know what I am gonna eat and not worry about whether or not I have all the fixin's for it! I hit the store today too for bits and pieces...less than $20! I can get used to this!

You do have to go teach the future...and so do I :) I'm gonna try to bootcamp during my plan if people will leave me the heck alone! :P Good luck to you!
