January 8: Day 126 of the 10+ Minute Fitness Challenge

Sunday, January 08, 2012

Today's Fitness
I did 86 minutes of fitness today.

Today's Highlights
Today's highlight was again getting in a good amount of fitness minutes during a football game. Hats off to the Denver Brocos and Tim Tebow for an amazing game (and kudos to the Steelers for coming back and showing how tough they always are). My brother lives in Denver and was at the game today. Watched the game with my boys and we'd go outside during some commercials and run sprints and throw football.

Member Highlight

I had to laugh at this comment from a member her dog ate my book The Spark! But happily she got another copy. As a small plug, I honestly believe reading The Spark is one of the top things any SP member can do if they want to increase their chances of reaching their health goals and any goals in life. If you buy the book, read it, and don't like it, I'll buy it back from you:

Cindy Olson posted on The Spark's Wall

"I bought the book when it first was released and my dog ate it. Honestly! So now I've downloaded it on my iPad so I can keep it with me while traveling. Starting the Spark in 2012! Thank you Chris!!!"

We can all do it! I hope you had a great day! Did you get at least 10 minutes of fitness? What's your highlight?

Chris (SparkGuy)

1 hour 40 min so far today, all walking but some was on the sand so it was more strenuous than sidewalk - hope it burned a few more calories, too!

What a great idea! 10 minutes of fitness. How hard can that be? A short walk around the block? A good way to balance out my harder workouts which will wear me out if I don't use some good sense. Thanks.

I have to admit I haven't been exercising at all lately, but I'm restarting my Spark and today I walked 2 miles with my friend and my dog! It was a lovely day for a walk I feel pretty good. I hope this is the start of a positive trend.

Didn't get to exercise today. Instead, cleaned the kitchen. Threw away tons of stuff.

My dog didn't eat it but I love my second copy of Spark on my phone. It makes it easy to carry along and share with others. I also have the Spark cookbook on my kindle and phone. emoticon
