I was at the Mall the other evening. Doing my usual 3 laps of walking. I was moving along at a good pace. Passing the shoppers. And being past once in a while by some walkers. I wasn't trying to race anyone. Just wanting to maintain a good walking pace.

One lady cautioned her young daughter who was trying to keep up with me. "Be careful honey, men who are walking fast like that are wanting to snatch your purse!" I don't know if she was serious or just trying to scare her daughter from being too friendly. I wanted to turn around and say, "Sure, Lady, look at my grey hair. I am ready to snatch and run!" hahaha

On my 3rd time around, I see this family walking up ahead of me. They are moving slow. But they are walking together. At first I thought they were shoppers trudging along. I noticed too, each member was pretty hefty weight wise.

I walked around them, as they were walking to the side. The side is a favorite for walkers. Then I made my way past them. Yet as I made my way down one wing and up, I saw them coming around the corner, staying to the side and walking slow but sure. THEY WERE OUT TOGETHER WALKING FOR EXERCISE!

When I realized the whole family was out walking the mall. I thought, "God Bless them! They are trying to make a change and a difference in their lives as a family!" That is boldly stepping out to make the needed changes. Instead of living in fear that someone might come along and snatch something from you.

What's keeping any of us from LIVING OUR DREAM in 2012?

Make 2012 the year YOU made a difference in your life!

Whether it be physical and needing to lose weight and/or build strength through exercise.

Whether it be mental needing to get the brain in gear by reading a book or teasing it with a good word game. Or learning something new this year.

Whether it be social needing to spend more time with family or friends. Or being the best you can be on the job.

Whether it be spiritual needing to come closer to the God you love through reading His Word and getting involved in a good Church. By living the life He has set for you to live!

Whatever it be, make this year, 2012, the year to succeed by LIVING YOUR DREAM!
