I found a website that suggested you eat a half of a grapefruit before each meal to help with weight loss. That sounded like a good idea, so I tried it. It did seem to work. I lost 5 pounds this week. The website says to not use the idea for more than 3 weeks...I guess your body gets used to the lower calories and weight loss stops. So I am going to try to keep doing it for the 3 weeks.
Was able to get to the track and walk most days this week. I will try to get there more often next week. I am trying to get 7 miles a week in or an average of one mile/day. My thought is to increase that each month until I am at 10 miles/week...I am hoping come Spring I can start adding some running in to the equation.
