My heart is deeply troubled. My 18 year old grandson was visiting at his aunt's (she is a foster parent to other children) house, when one of her wards (a 16 year old boy) said he was going outside to smoke a cigarette before going to bed and tossed a letter to my grandson and said; "See what you think of this". Everyone thought it was a letter he was writing to his father who is in prison. My grandson started reading the letter and ran out of the house to find the boy hanging from a tree. He ran back in screaming for help, grabbed a knife and ran back out and stood on the chair the boy had kicked out from under himself and cut him down. The boy was still breathing and going into seizures. The doctors do not know if he will live and if he does whether or not there will be any damage to his brain. I cannot imagine hurting to the point of taking your own life, especially if you're a child. It breaks my heart to think of someone in that much pain. Please join me in praying, not just for this boy's life, but that God will draw the heart's of both boys toward Himself. That they will come to know the love God has for them and that He gave His Son for them, that the Holy Spirit will prepare their hearts to receive Jesus as their Savior.
