Edema, Inflamation, Water weight, and Success

So... my goal in January was to lose 5 lbs.
I'd gained 13 lbs from Halloween through the New Year... talk about depression/holiday eating!! So yeah, it's the 7th and I've already lost 6 lbs!! WHOOO
I know that most if not all of it is water weight and some folks would be like "yeah, it's just water, it's not REAL weight loss"... but -
The deal is, if I reduce the water in my body (while still maintaining perfect hydration through drinking plenty) it means I'm reducing my edema and inflamation as well... and inflamation causes pain (and I have plenty of that thanks, don't need any more!!)
So... I'm thinking... WIN WIN!! ;D
