6 Months on SparkPeople

Saturday, January 07, 2012

Now that I have been a Spark for 6 months, I need to evaluate.

COSTS....The website is available for free, which is amazing. Requires a quality computer system which my husband likes to have up and running anyway. Has eaten up between 350 and 500 hours of my time. emoticon

BENEFITS....I have lost 4 pounds emoticon and 4 inches emoticon. Improved balance, flexibility, and endurance. Because I can track my Bible reading, I am more consistent with it. Having made many new friends, with prayer requests, my prayers have also become more consistent.
Have enjoyed the opportunity to be creative with words and symbols emoticon emoticon pictures and colors.

REVISED GOALS.....I want to lose 5 pounds which will bring me into the 'Healthy' BMI.
I want to run a 5K race (no time limit...just finish it)
I want to read through the Bible in 2012
I want to continue as Co Leader of Christian Women with Depression for another 6 months. I want to use up at least 700 of the Team Goodie points each month!
I want to spend on average, less than 70 minutes a day on SparkPeople.

Life is a learning process...you try, you evaluate, you plan and go try for another 6 months!

emoticon Congrats!! I, for one, am thankful you are my co-leader and am very grateful you see yourself continuing in that role for the next 6 months. You have made great progress and I think you'll meet or exceed your goals in no time. Keep doing what you're doing and you'll be there soon.
