Unwelcome House Guest!

Saturday, January 07, 2012

We have an unwelcome guest at our house. It has been making it's self at home when we go to bed. We get up in the morning and find things that were in the cabinets knocked down on the counter top, but the cabinet doors are closed. It looked as if someone was looking for something and knocked things out then closed the cupboard door! I had a feeling that it was a raccoon. We had a raccoon in our house before. It came down the chimney. I could not figure how this one was getting in. I set a trap in the attic, but could not catch it. So, I moved the trap to the basement two weeks ago. I finally caught it! We are in the process of interrogating it to find out if there are any more, but it is refusing to cooperate!

Alan did you ever find out where he was getting in? I could not imagine having one in the house.

We're blessed with plenty of wildlife here, but no raccoons. Thank goodness! All I've ever heard about them is that they're cute, cute, cute but always trouble with capital T.
Good on ya for outsmarting this one, Alan!

You may have to bring out the rubber hose or maybe the water drip will make him talk. Hopefully he was a loner & your problem is solved!

Alan, you're so funny! I hope you can break him and that he FINALLY cooperates! My son would love to trap them for you! He got a coyote yesterday! Pretty thrilling for him. He sold muskrats the other day and made $200. Anyway, thanks for the smiles this morning!
